Simple Day (July 9)

We, Cameron and Amalie, wish to thank the Barony of Sternfeld for hosting A Simple Day in the Country. We enjoyed greatly getting to connect with Our populace and see the preparations for the War ahead, as well as acknowledge and commend many We have found deserving of recognition.

SCA 50th Year Celebration (June 18-25)

We, Cameron and Amalie, wish to thank the all of those involved with planning the SCA 50th Year Anniversary Celebration. We enjoyed greatly getting to connect with Our populace, Our Royal cousins, and see the celebration of all things which make the Society great.

North Oaken War Manuevers (June 3-5)

We, Cameron and Amalie, wish to thank the Barony of the Cleftlands for hosting the 20th Annual Northern Oaken War Maneuvers. We enjoyed greatly getting to connect with Our populace and see the preparations for the War ahead.

Crown Tournament (May 28-29)

We, Cameron and Amalie, wish to thank the Shire of Mynydd Seren for hosting Our Crown Tournament as well as Kingdom A&S and the Constellation Academy of Defense.  The event had something for everyone, and eventually concluded with Us gaining new heirs in Prince Edmund and Princess Kateryn.

Thank you to Meister Peter and all the staff for putting on a successful weekend of events.

Border Raids (May 21)

We, Cameron and Amalie, wish to thank the Shire of Dragonsmark and the Barony of Flame for hosting the Border Raids event this weekend.  Many battles were fought and won, and though it was cool and rainy - a true fighting spirit ruled the day.

Many thanks to Baroness Sybella of Dragonsmark, the event steward, and her staff for the accommodations and wonderful work on the event.

Coronation (May 6-8)

We, Cameron & Amalie, wish to thank the Barony of Shadowed Stars for hosing Our Coronation this past weekend.  We are truly honored to take our place as your Majesties, and could not have imagined a more gracious event to celebrate our ascension to the throne.

We wish to thank Captain Ulrich and his staff for coordinating a weekend filled with many activities and wonderful memories.

Our Crown Tournament Rules

Crown Tournament will be conducted as a standard double elimination tournament using matches consisting of 5 bouts. There will be no pool tourney to establish entry to the final 16 combatants.

Winning 3 of 5 bouts will determine who will advance from a match. 

Combatants will move to a defeated bracket if they do not advance from a match. 

Those who do not advance from a match in the defeated bracket will be eliminated from the tournament. 

Double kills will be re-fought.

Matches will be fought with multiple weapon styles in the following order:

1st Bout - Spear

2nd Bout - Polearm

3rd Bout - Great Sword

4th Bout - Two Weapon

5th Bout - Weapon & Shield

If a fighter does not possess an authorization for a particular weapon style they will forfeit that bout.

If need be, a weapon of each particular type will be available for use by combatants. 

Weapons of any length that meet the Middle Kingdom rules of Armored Combat are allowed. 

No backup weapons will be allowed.

No shield may be more than 36” in any diameter.
